So Generator Rex is a Man of Action (the same people who did Ben 10, yes I know). But unlike most Man of Action shows, it starts off with a pretty dark premise. Five years ago, there was an massive explosion which released nanites into the world, embedding themselves into the dna structure of every living thing on the planet. The result? An all-out war on "monsters". Cities were wiped off the map and never heard of again. Every living creature on the planet will turn into a monster... eventually. The only cure on the planet is an amnesiac teenage boy named Rex. Luckily, he doesn't have to do it on his own.
PROVIDENCE: WE ARE THE REDSHIRT ARMY DEFENDING THE WORLD
Agent Six (Counselor)
Rex: Can't you believe you let these scags get the drop on you.
Agent Six: They tried. It didn't turn out so well. Just haven't found a way to fight xenoflourine gas... yet.
Like most ninjas in the media, Six is strict, hardassed and emotionally repressed. He doesn't like to talk about his feelings when he can rather talk about Providence protocols and the best attack plan. That being said, Six cares deeply for Rex and would slice up anyone who hurt him. Struggling to deal with the fact that he's the caretaker to a deadly weapon who happens to be a teenager, Six often does the right thing. While putting his foot in his mouth, but hey, he tries.
Why you should app him: You get to be a tsundere ninja hobo who will never understand women. Voiced by Wally Kurth (Days of Our Lives, General Hospital)
Bobo Haha (Counselor? Camper?)
Rex: You're a monkey. It's the jungle.
Bobo Haha: Let me tell you something chief. The jungle is a cool mistress. One day you're on the top of banana pile - next day you're a pile of peels rotting on the Sun. She will chew you up and spit you up. Never forget that! NEVER FORGET!
Bobo is a fez and eyepatch wearing monkey who likes to shoot first and gamble later. Mostly, he likes to gamble. He builds his own Terminator monkeys. He has a thing for Las Vegas showgirls and parties. He's a sarcastic, gangsta talking monkey who never seems to take anything seriously or anyone. Still, Bobo has a heart of gold! Even if he'll sell you out for pizza.
Why you should app him: HE IS A EYEPATCH FEZWEARING MONKEY WITH ATTITUDE AND GUNS. WHO WOULDN'T APP HIM? Voiced by John DiMaggio (Bender, Jake the Dog)
Doctor Holiday (Counselor)
Rex: I'm going to go out on a limb here. I think we made it worse.
White Knight: It seems we'll have to implement the fallback plan.
Doctor Holiday: (hits the screen and grunts) So blindly charging forward didn't work. (Sarcastically) I'm shocked.
Agent Six: Doctor, we could use your help.
Doctor Holiday: Now you want to listen to me. I've got work to do.
Yes, she really is called Doctor Holiday. Unlike most scientists, Doctor Holliday is not afraid of being empathic or too close to the people she works with. She strongly believes in Rex's rights and using science as a way to defeat all obstacles. She has three PhDs so when she's talking, everyone better listen (when they don't, shit hits the roof). That being said, you do not fucking underestimate Doctor Holiday. She does not need anyone to protect her and if you fuck with the people she cares about, she will tear you apart, molecule by molecule.
Why you should app her: She defies the scientist stereotype by following her feelings and being capable enough to shoot people in the face. Also voiced by Grey DeLisle (Azula, Mandy from Adventure Time)
Noah Nixon (Camper)
Noah: Save the world or the chance to win a scholarship.... wait I'm coming too!
Noah is Rex's best friend. Considering Rex isn't really allowed to socialized and he only remembers the last 18 months, Noah is a huge accomplishment! While Noah is just as fun-loving and competitive as Rex can be, he's definitely the voice of reason on the show (WHY IS THERE A TALKING MONKEY? WHY IS THIS OLD GUY STALKING YOU? CAN WE GO HOME AND NOT DIE NOW??). They are bros, bros who face impossible odds together like TABLE TENNIS and BOOT CAMP and PROM NIGHT. When it comes down to it though, they are tight and Noah will stick with Rex to the end, even if it's a sticky end.
Why should app him: Straight, funny guy who wants to save the world and have fun too. Voiced by Fred Savage (Boy Meets World, The Princess Bride)
Cesar Salazar (Camper)
Rex: Are you crazy?!
Cesar: Depends on who you ask.
Cesar is a nutty scientist. Sometimes, he forgets about important things like his brother being lost in the desert! Monsters might rip him to shreds! Imminent death and so on. Easily side-tracked and always looking for new things to study, Cesar is the chirpy, kooky brother who uses the most powerful magnet in the world to make milkshakes. Still, Cesar places a lot of importance on family and Rex is the only family he has left. (I would hold off apping Cesar until the season finishes, due to spoilery stuff though)
Why you should app him: Adorable, quirky scientist who loves his younger brother! Voiced by Freddy Rodriguez (Six Feet Under, Grindhouse)
White Knite (Counselor)
White Knight: You can't befriend a weapon, You can only use it.
So, the boss of Providence is the ultimate douchebag. He tells his soldiers that they're replacable to their faces. He treats Rex like a weapon and put him in a broom closet. And it goes on and on! White Knight is the only person on the planet without Nanites and as a result, he spent five years developing into a germaphobic douchebag. Still, ultimately, White does want to help the human race. He's just willing to wipe out thousands of people to do it.
Why you should app him: Actually, White Knight is a difficult app to pull off and even trickier one to play, but there's no denying the depth of character he has. He has tons of bitter irony on his side and he acts like a typical war leader should in a children's cartoon. Voiced by J.K Simmons (Oz, Arrested Development)
Kenwyn Jones
Kenwyn: I guess it's safe to say you just blew our cover.
Rex: Or- we showed up with a talking monkey, I'm kinda world famous, and wearing that outfit...you totally blend.
Kenwyn: Haven't you ever heard of "dressing for success"?!
Kenwyn Jones is basically the equivalent of an African/American army version of Hermione Granger. She wants to be top of her class, she is incredibly fucking smart and she doesn't take BS from anyone. And anyone who takes off number one is on her shit list forever. That being said, Kenwyn knows how to own up to her mistakes and also knows how to work with other people's strengths. Even if it takes her an entire episode to figure it out, Kenwyn Jones owns the competition.
Why you should app her: Super smart and combat specialist version of Hermione Granger. Duh. Voiced by Rutina Wesley (Tara Thorton)
THE PACK: FUCK UP AND YOU BECOME A GARDEN ORNAMENT FOR REALZ
Van Kleiss (Counselor)
Van Kleiss: Alive, yes... Heart pumping, lungs breathing, but his mind? The less there is of that, the better.
How does one describe Van Kleiss? Rex pegged him as a "psycho murdering EVO" but that doesn't really come close to ~Van Kleiss~. One of the scientists involved in the original Nanite Event, Van Kleiss is the Magneto to other EVOs who seek help and guidance. But at the same time, Van Kleiss devours other EVOs in order to maintain his own existence and puts a lot of importance on Rex. Basically, he's a mad scientist pedophile. But he is also intelligent enough to claim immunity from the UN and get the girl Rex likes to his side in order to lure Rex to him.
Why you should app him: Creeper closet geek with great hair. Also voiced by Troy Baker (Yuri Lowell, Kanji)
Circe (Camper)
Circe: I'm not some helpless little girl!
While we don't know Circe's back story, the effects of what happened to her when she turned EVO are obvious. She felt alone, hunted and more importantly, she felt she couldn't hold onto to her self without making drastic choices. Sarcastic, snarky and deadpan, Circe has a lot of feelings she hides under ANGER and NEED TO HAVE A FAMILY. Along the way, she makes bad choices, but they are clearly her choices and anyone who tries to make her do otherwise is totally screwed.
Why you should app her: She's an angry mutant who just wants to fit in. Plus, she knows kung-fu. Voiced by Tara Sands (Genis, Mokuba Kaiba)
Breach (Camper)
Rex: We've been over this, Breach. I don't want to be your pet, your toy, your... whatever!
Breach: Oh, I'm done ~collecting~ you. It's much more fun messing with you!
Breach has the ability to create portals. Portals leading to anywhere on the planet. Portals to Silent Hill pocket dimensions! Except that one is Breach's personal playground, where she collects people, monsters, things etc. Demented, childish and obsessive, you do not touch Breach's shinies or she could rip you apart from the inside out. She is easily the most interesting Pack member, ranging from sad, empty and alone to crazy, mind-rapey school girl.
Why you should app her: Psycho yandere schoolgirl who carries her Silent Hill with her wherever she goes! SERIOUSLY. Voiced by Hyden Walch (Starfire, Princess Bubblegum from the original short)

Gatlocke (Counselor)
Gatlocke: Allow me to introduce myself! I'm Gatlocke: anarchist, struggling businessman, scoundrel... Okay, that's a lie. I'm not 'struggling'... but, lemme ask you! Do you like rules?
Rex: Can't say I do.
Gatlocke: Me neither. I hate them. It's why me and my men live by the anarchist code. For us, there are no rules.
Minion: Excepts no cursing.
Gatlocke: True! We're anarchists, not animals.
Gatlocke is basically what you get when you put an English accent, Gambit and gay pirate mixed together. His mind is always off track ranging from talking about how awesome toilet paper is to wanting an ice-tea. He's quirky, he loves a cliche and more importantly, he can't stop talking. Gatlocke's capable of contradicting himself in the same sentence. That, however, doesn't make him any less awesome.
Why you should app him: Uhm, gay pirate with verbal diarrhea. I think the answer's clear. Voiced by Greg Ellis (Anders, Lt. Theodore Groves)
Quarry (Counselor)
Quarry: Leave the sewers to us rats. You go back to Providence. It was good to see you again, Rex.
Let's start with the most important fact on Quarry: He's voiced by Mark Hamill.
Moving away from that, Quarry isn't psychotic or a megalomaniac. Quarry is a business man. He just wants his life to run criminally smooth, indulge in all the pleasures he can't even use (like fancy cars) and casually destroying his employees by letting his lieutenants eat them. Quarry just doesn't give a fuck about anyone but himself, which means he's quite happy taking in underage kids with powers and forcing them to work with him. In a way, Quarry is so terrifying because he is adept at mindfucking people in the long term. You think you've escaped? Think again. Quarry always has a backup plan.
Why you should app him: If you ever wanted to play a Mark Hamill guy without any of the cast hangups, he's your guy.
ZAG-RS (Camper? Five years old technically)
