DROPPED CHARACTERS HOLIDAY CARDS EVENT GET

So once again this year I am continuing with my grand tradition of forgetting to actually say anything about this event until it's almost here hurr hurr.

Those of you who've been with us a while probably know about this thing we do every year in December near Christmas, where characters who have been dropped from CFUD are able to send letters and packages in to characters still here! Here are the general guidelines:

• Any character who has been dropped may send CFUD letters/packages. It doesn't matter whether they've been gone five years or two weeks, or whether the player is still in the game.
• Characters are not limited to one letter; for example, if Tomo wanted to send separate letters to Itachi and Tohru and Peony and whomever else, she would be free to.
• Gifts are also allowed! Use common sense! Having someone airlift in a new cabin or something or send directions on how to escape from camp is obviously not going to work. You are free to have characters ATTEMPT such gifts and have camp nuke them, though.
• The post this year will go up on December 18th, which is earlier than usual but I don't want to post it right on Christmas or anything like that. It gives you all a week to work on things!
• If your dropped character has been reapped since you dropped, whether or not that character is still in camp, please discuss how you want to handle this with the other player. It is totally possible for a past version of a character to send mail to a current version (it's happened before), or for multiple versions to send letters, but it's an individual decision whether or not this is something you want to play with. Be respectful!

Have another list about how this works:

• You, the players of dropped characters, write their IC letters and/or come up with their packages. Players no longer in the game are free to participate, as I mentioned!
• The post will go up! The letters and packages will be posted in it!
• You have options as to how to do this: you can post under the character's old journal, or the journal of a current character you have, or one of the anon accounts--or you can have another player post your stuff for you! If you know you're not going to be around on the 18th or soon after, you can send your letters/info to me or another player to post on your behalf when the post goes up.
• The post will be open forever! Don't worry about timezones or vacations or anything; if you want to post your letter on the 22nd or something instead, go for it. You might want to let the relevant parties know, but don't stress it, because schedules are hectic this time of year.
