AUDIENCE APPRECIATION WEEKEND

Jun 11, 2009 22:49

OKAY SO. Better late than never, I guess!

Audience appreciation weekend is, in brief, a time of year when players drabble/draw/thread in response to requests by audience and players.

From here on I am copy-pasting from what Shigure did last year.

FIRST. A POLL TO DECIDE ON THE DATE, I'd rather do it sooner than later, but WE ARE A DEMOCRACY. I'll go with whichever has more votes by tomorrow morning.

Whichever date, I'd be making a post in the main comm Friday morning, then people would make requests and other people would answer them. Much like a drabble meme. I'll be making a post with moar tl;dr with the rules and stuff once we have a date.

EDIT: HEY GUYS, THE LAST DATE IS COUNSELORS. IGNORE IT. IT'S NOT AN OPTION ANYMORE.

Also I wound up smooshing the two polls together. First is: when do you want AAW to be? Second is, will you pinch hit for unfulfilled requests? with a side of "so what will you write for anyway?"

ETA: AUDIENCE APPRECIATION LASTS FROM FRIDAY TO SUNDAY. During this time Audience* make requests. Then people reply to these requests throughout the next week. THE GOAL is to give each requests at least one reply before the week is over.

*If you are reading this post, you are considered audience and as such, get to ask for stuff.

Okay so starting tomorrow is probably impractical because there's more admin work to do, but if it has a huge majority then -- yes, I suppose it's possible.
