That said, uh, I have no preferences over when it's held! I remember it was an app weekend last year, because I distracted myself from obsessively refreshing the voting on Masahiro's app by working on stuff.
--oh, and isn't it that we try to fill at least one request for each person? Not necessarily ALL REQUESTS EVERYONE MAKES, though it's cool if that happens.
