Two things!
1. Because it's an unusually long gap between application rounds, I'm bumping up the beta post so that we all remember it's there and that if we're betaing to ... well if you're me, postpone it a few more days and feel bad. /o\
2. So I was talking to Juri the other day and she used the term "peed in someone's cheerios". There was a moment of "wtf" from me as cheerios in Australia are not a breakfast cereal but instead smallgoods. And then there was discussion in the chan about jello/jelly/jam/preserves and CLEARLY THIS IS AN ONGOING THING.
So. Serious Poll. Have you had a situation where someone uses an entirely different word or phrase to describe something than you do? What was it? DETAILS.
