Won't be around this weekend, so I'll be back Monday for Loveless antics. Visiting relatives for the Chinese New Year, collecting cash, stuffing on foods with punny names relating to FORTUNE and WEALTH and all that. I can't remember what fish were supposed to relate to. I'm very in touch with my roots!
Speaking of CNY, have a serious poll. What's your favourite tradition? Whether it's something that your ethnic group/cultural lineage has done for generations and generations since forever or a national event thing or a random in-joke that someone in your family started and you've followed annually ever since, talk about it and your reasons for liking it! Is it the food? The glow of family? The goodies? Or just fun?
