The thing about my mom is that she's a little, erm ... vain. And she freely admits it. Anything that will stop or hesitate the aging process (or even because it sounds fun and is expensive), she's on board.

Had what would be referred to, of late, as a pretty relaxed/empty weekend, even though I didn't spend too much of it at home. I suppose when your days aren't filled with packing boxes, driving them somewhere and yelling in frustration about how much is left to be done, things seem pretty copasetic.

On my mother's urging, I've started getting monthly facials at a spa in Georgetown.
