some of my favorite things about the UW
-the suzzallo reading room- harry potter. in extreme. anything you do here is magnanimous. Even napping. it is magnanimous napping.
-the really happy asian lady who rings me up at By George's every other morning- She's got this fabulous accent. and she's peppy-er than the one gay dude on will and grace (who's not will). And she's just damn cool.
-the salad-toasted walnuts, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, feta cheese, hard boiled eggs, romaine, honey mustard dressing. yum. dinner.
-the powder room (!)- hopefully my future employer. transcends clothing boutique..approaching shrine status. designer sunglasses=2 for 16$. mecca. plus my boots originated there. <3 how do I love thee...let me count the ways...
my boots-are made for walking (no really they are, they're flats..) and will kick your ass. By themselves.
-cafe on the ave- better coffee than starbucks. cute barista.
-my dorothy shoes- 14$ on debit mastercard, red sequined stillettos? priceless.
-walking to the IMA with Adrienne-long talks about funny things nobody else gets
-watching greys anatomy from my loft bed- watching it on Kristina's laptop tivo =not having to spend money on a TV=sticking it to the man. oh yeah.
-getting out of class at 12:20- lunch time and free time!
-jazz ensemble- is god. don't argue.
-my reformation class- "that actually is a heresy..I'm sorry, you're going to hell. the third level of hell actually" the catholic church...ahh the intrigues
-my reformation teacher- looks like Risa's grandma and is my hero
-getting out of my bed- not really. sucks. but starting the day out with a few good cursewords never hurt anybody...
-random meetings with guys on my way back from the showers wearing only a towel and a hair dryer-the first time it was mortifying. now its just funny...
parties-
-drunk people- are highly amusing and very easy to boss around :D
-frat parties- wonderful wonderful ego boosts
-getting up the morning after...-notsomuch
-saying goodmorning to your hungover roommates- FUNNY
