I've spent an exciting Saturday evening looking at my credit report and paying bills. I'm frankly shocked at the utter positivity of my credit report given my financial, er, uncertainties over the past few years and the fact that I've definitely made some late credit card payments. But apparently one or two here or there don't matter. Awesome. That's pretty great.
This is all part of the Apartment Hunt process. I've also been looking at and writing to apartments on craigslist and sending an email to everyone I know related to NYC requesting apt tips. I've never looked for an apartment before; any advice?
Also today: hung out with my family on Long Island, and did some emotional cleansing of some thigns that needed to be purged. Or purging of things that needed to be cleansed? Anyway, I made an effort at both.
I am now going to attempt to put on some pants more suitable for going out than the fleece I have on and get myself to meet some folks at the gay dance club down the way. Never mind that I've kind of lost my voice from being kind of sick this week and I should probably stay home and sleep. Whatever, I'll get to bed by 1 either way.
