Recent coords leading up to St. Patrick's Day, which I wanted to celebrate more this year than we usually do.

And this is my coord for St. Patrick's Day. I really like it; I think it looks very Irish, and kind of Dolly Kei. The brooch is carved out of bog peat; I bought it in Ireland in 2009 as a souvenir for my grandmother; she gave it back last year since she's been really clearing out her house.

For dinner, I wanted to have an Irish breakfast! A meat market nearby claimed to have Irish bacon, and it was cut that way, but it was beef! I made soda bread and of course we had potatoes and Irish butter and cheese.
And my sister, nephew, and I had made festive sugar cookies. Hope you had a happy St. Patrick's Day, whether you're Irish or not (I'm not!)
