Follow-up report on the TSC situation
It's official... TSC is now Avenara's Friends: The Second Coming. (Not that it was still Classmates: TSC before the dramaz, in my opinion...) She and Friis are only inviting Akara, Hatman, Nokvok and KE into their exclusive RPing club, and except for the last and to some extent the first of that list, I'm glad to see them go.
Friis is wrapped around Ave's little finger; that much is clear enough already. He's a nice guy, although he has a lot of room for improvement as far as GMing goes, but it's obvious that he doesn't have any real power in that role anymore.
Hatman is really just That One Guy Who Hangs Around The Chat And Is Kind Of An Arse. He's good at RPing, but enough of a jackass that I really don't care what he does here. I didn't realise he was that close to Ave, though.
Nok is... Nok is Nok. Those who know him know exactly what I'm talking about.
On the other hand, though, Akara seemed to be genuinely nice, although LSE-afflicted and reclusive by chat standards. However, she also seems to be a close friend of Ave's, and the last time she was in the chat she was railing at me alongside said batshit-insane woman. This complicates things; I'm kinda worried that if the argument itself didn't ruin any chance at friendship we might have had, the two of them talking afterwards would.
KE is the only one of AF: TSC that's also really part of our group... and he also happens to be Ave's best friend and Akara's boyfriend. Even though I think he'd at least try to participate in both our Classmates relaunch and their TSC, given Ave's mentality insofar as the politics of friendship are concerned and the amount of enmity between us, someone is going to try to make him choose eventually. Furthermore, as soon as he gets back, he's inevitably going to end up having this whole CM fiasco dumped on his head. Either one would be Not Fun in and of itself, but the two together...
So, yeah.
On the plus side, Friis came back to chat. I was expecting him to be gone a lot longer, but he responded to my invite this morning... Akara didn't, but she didn't often show up when I invited her even before the schism.
