Scott & Kirsten have just returned from Dallas where we attended Portus, a Harry Potter Symposium. While there we met fans nuttier than
ourselves and connected with several new suppliers. As a result we have a bunch of new items to offer - Hogwarts House lapel pins, light-up
Voldemort & Harry wands, T-shirts, Dark-Mark Tattoos, FIREFLY insignia patches/pins, and more.
In a little more than a week we're headed off to the SCA Pennsic War to spend 2 weeks living in a medieval pavilion and participating in various battles, concerts, shows, competitions, and of course vending. The store will still be open regular hours while we're gone.
We still have some sale items: All tank-tops are 30% off - this includes cotton prints, and silks. "Little Prince/ess" Baby gifties are still 75% off until they're gone. Garden gnomes, gargoyles, tree faces and other garden decor is 30-50% off. We still have some home decor items left at 30-75% off. Come grab some bargains and help us make room for new merchandise (like costumes, victorian jewelry, dice, new
toys, and steampunk accessories).
and now... upcoming events!

Join us on the anniversary of the birthdays of Frodo and Bilbo Baggins for Lord of the Rings style fun! We'll have a costume contest, open filking, hobbit dancing, mathom exchange, games, movies, snacks, drinks, etc. BYOM (bring your own mead). Admission is $5 and a mathom if you wish to participate in the gift exchange. Tickets will be available for purchase Sep 1. We only have room for about 60 people.
What is a mathom?
A mathom is basically a birthday present whose use has been forgotten. Oftentimes hobbits will pass old presents to new recipients. We suggest you dig some old, weird, useless thing out of the back of your closet and wrap it up. We'll do the gift exchange "white oliphaunt" style - where we each draw numbers and pick gifts randomly from the pile. The next person gets to either take a gift from someone else or choose one that has yet been opened.
