I have a little bit of a thing for possessive!characters, especially Merlin. I have a feeling he doesn't share well at all. And I should like to think Merlin has a little more respect for himself, and Arthur, of course, than to force him. If Arthur really did say no, and mean it, Merlin would've backed off.

Something tells me I am not coming out of this month alive! Oh wow! I love it I love it all! Right from Arthur having to practically baby sit to earn his name to 'You're mine'!!! I think it would help change Arthur's mind when he sees that Merlin wasn't kidding about taking care of the humans :D

But my god you could /feel/ the electricity between them! Aaaahhhh *fans self* I loved how Merlin knew right from the start, even before Arthur did himself, what was in his heart. And how Merlin's not giving up yet!!

Oh yeah....this is gonna be SOOOOO good...

What I saw in this fic, which is what I think will make the battle so interesting, was while we saw that little part of Arthur that yearns toward Merlin (to be a little bit bad as it were), we also saw in Merlin his yearning to be good for Arthur (his touch gentle and his voice soft).

I suspect an epic battle of wills is coming...and can't wait!

Thank you so much! I'm really happy and excited that you like this! I really have fallen in love with writing this verse, it's thrilling and it's kind of out of my comfort zone, but it's lovely, you know?

Yeah, they're both yearning for one another, Arthur's just fighting against him because he thinks he has to. And then there's Merlin, who, is fighting for him, breaking down his walls just to make him see that he really honestly does care about him. They keep clashing with one another in pretty much all areas, and it's certainly going to be a trip to play out their, and I quote, "epic battle of wills".
