Lethal
Poison comes in many forms.
There are dangerous plants and their lethal extracts that Gaius distils and stores in vials and glass containers - hemlock, aconite, henbane, and many more.
There is the venom of living creatures such as the adder hiding in the bracken, and the stealthy weever fish whose sting can kill.
And there is the slow, fatal poison of malevolence and evil intentions. Pernicious ideas fueled by hatred and revenge dripped from Morgause's lips into Morgana's ears every day for a year. In the end, they did prove lethal.
Hateful words can be the most toxic of all.
