The feel of silk against Morgana’s skin, how her gown hugged her body close. The sensual touch of cool fabric, fluttering as she moved, and the admiration of those around her, whispering of her loveliness, their awed eagerness for her smile.
Once upon a time, when she was the beloved ward and not Uther’s enemy, she delighted in her beauty’s power.
Now it was armour, the silks and the jewels, the elaborate hairstyles, the flutter of her fingertips, drawing attention to things unimportant.
A deliberate façade.
Her hatred hidden under silk and smiles, they would never know what hit them.
