Merlin and Morgana were watching some television before bed. Merlin pretended to yawn and put his arm around Morgana’s shoulders. She didn’t shrug it off, so he took that as a positive sign.
Next, he began nuzzling her neck. She didn’t shy away, so he kept doing it and reached his other hand over to hold hers.
He felt her breath begin to quicken. He was about to pull her into his lap when she said, “No, Merlin.”
Undaunted, he began to kiss her cheek and jaw. “You say that with your lips, but your body language says something else entirely.”
She reached for the remote and zapped the telly off. “You’re right,” she said, maneuvering herself onto his lap. She grabbed his head with her hands and pulled his lips to hers.
He grasped her backside with his hands and kneaded, pushing her closer. “Maybe we should take this to the bedroom,” he panted.
“I’m just fine here,” she replied, breaking from his mouth to nuzzle his neck.
“Okay. I’m fine with that.”
And the night went on without them paying any attention.
