From the corner of his eyes, Merlin noticed that Morgana had entered the great hall, ready to join the feast. It was hard to miss her emerald velvet gown in the sea of red and more subdued colours. When he first came here, he had a huge crush on her and he would have been happy for every glance in her direction he could get. He had been happy when she just looked his way or when she smiled at him. She didn’t smile much anymore and he wouldn’t notice anyway.
These days, he only had eyes for her brother.
