Author's Notes: I have been working on this basically until the last minute. Sadly, this means that the story was not beta read. Sorry about that. If you find any mistakes, please point them out to me.
Also, really sucky title, but I had a hard time coming up with a title at all.
It was the wide eyed look the servant girl gave him which told Gwaine that something was amiss. Blurry images of a night of drinking and his throbbing head led him to the conclusion that he might have had one ale too many. However, it did explain why he had apparently spent the night in the stables.
Gwaine brought himself into a sitting position and stared at his bare legs. Suddenly the girl’s shocked expression made sense. “Those treacherous bastards”, he growled, while silently vowing to make his fellow knights pay for the rather humiliating walk to his room which lay ahead of him.
