hark to the horns!
I just had the coolest idea in the history of all cool ideas!!!!!
I'm going to organize a huge, all-horn concert, hopefully at Antelope bandshell, probably sometime in May. Decent horn ensembles, quartets, and solos, will be allowed to play, and i'll try to dig up an accompanist or two who would be willing to help out with the solos. Hmmm, that raises the issue of a piano, or some semblance thereof... i'll figure it out somehow. Then, for the end, we'll have all participants come out and play a 4-part horn call together! It's going to be SO AWESOME you will just not believe it.
