As anyone who is my friend, knows that I follow Astrology. It's a "New Age" science thats actually quite ancient, but often disbelieved because it may not be exact when people want it to be, and/or because they feel their life can't have any predetermined path. Astrology isn't psychic; it's not going to tell you what your next decision to make. It should be view as either a tool to get to know those around you better, or more particularly yourself. That's precisely what I've used it for, and was a great dating tool.
I've had the opportunity in my life to meet many different people and I've gotten to know their birthdays at some point. My dad a Virgo and Mom a Cancer, my sister a Capricorn- that might tell anyone fairly knowledgeble on the Zodiac that I was bound to be very different from my immediate family and say at some point there would be a conflict since I am a Gemini. Upon further look, I might take on more of my dads qualities seeing as how Virgos are mutable signs, but I would be intelligent and goal setting like my Cardinal sister and mother. My family helps me get along great with Grant the Cancer and Chris a Capricorn, not to mention being on an debatable cusp with Taurus. I can bridge the gap between them and Jeff a Leo and Kyle an Aries. Whenever I have a chance to meet an air sign, like Richard a Gemini and CJ Wellentin a Libra I have intellectual conversations about rather radical things at time, such as energy or the ambiance of a room. I've worked with Geminis, Picseans, Virgos, Sagittarians- you name it. I've dated various signs. I can use that database of experience to help my friends in their relationships.
I've enjoyed the fact that people have come to me and say, "hey how good of a match am I with this person." It makes this seemingly worthless knowledge useful.
Toward the end of 2006 I made a list of the Signs and what Decans (Sections, Parts, etc) I could see myself being very compatible with. I dated or had gained interest in or the interest of every sign in the zodiac. This proves that no one sign is necessarily right. I had done this general compatibility before, but it just didn't seem to be enough and I knew I could elaborate further. So, I did.
Aries: 3rd Decan; Taurus: 1st and 3rd; Gemini: 3rd; Cancer: 1st or 3rd; Leo: 2nd; Sagittarius: 3rd Decan; Capricorn: 1st Decan; Aquarius; 3rd Decan; Pisces: 1st or 3rd. I knew I needed someone that was emotional and could express their emotions. However, they needed to be talkative and outgoing. They couldn't have too much pride in themselves, nor be deceptive and whiny. Lastly, someone that was motivating but not so steady or stubborn that I couldn't court them. Stephanie has all the things that I've always wanted: She is outgoing and good at expressing herself, not to mention very talkative and spontaneous. I can rely on her to be there for me, and she was open to being with me. I wouldn't necessarily have gotten the same thing from my other predicted matches, but there would be a solid base to build a relationship on. I know from all my past experiences and my ability to foresee things that there is no one else out there better for me than her.
So if your an Aries don't bore yourself with someone that's unnecessarily stubborn or someone too emotional to function or depends on your for security; Be with someone that'll feed your fire to lead and shine. I think most of all- at least get a deeper understanding of how a significant other's personality might work or the frame its built around. I can help make dating efficient and thurough.
(Title references tendency to always look for patterns, especially in a person's behavior and how I use that to create an idea of how things will continue.)
