So how about a fucking update? Give some of you fuckers out there something new to read and choke on and suck in.
Life
In general going really well. Kristel and Dakota are down in Oxford, I am up here, sucks, but it is working out good. Both will be here tonight around 11:30ish, so that'll be fun. Also, I will give a readers digest below of the other new event happening at home...
Football
Getting ready for first game against Robert Morries, should be a good one. Chance for the new guys to step and show what they got, and some of us old guys to continue to improve and be leaders.
Car
Has been in paint and body for about a month. Should look like a diamond when it is done.....jealousy oozing from all those reading, I can tell.
Home
Alright, because I generally talk little if any, I had kind of forgotten about the fact that really, 95% of the people I know knew NOTHING about this....so after realizing my error in talking to Christy the other night, decided to update on it.
In the late summer, got a call in the early morning on my moms phone from a kid who plays (played) on her basketball team. We had become extremely good friends with the family, and his mom was an awesome lady who had become a VERY good friend and confidant of my mothers. I yelled up for mom that her phone was ringing before heading to work. Working in Sidney, I got a call from my mom about Bluffton that his mother had passed away in the early morning. It was one of those moments where your heart honestly skips a beat and you half laugh to yourself with a "this has to be bullshit, no fucking way" kind of thought. She told me to continue on into work, but I didn't feel right doing that, and mom had to have been having trouble going through it as she called again when I was at Lima and turning around. Basically whole week was rough. She was an awesome lady, and was raising her three kids basically by herself. Has a 21 year old daughter, an 18 year old daughter, and her son is 16. Mom and dad knew immediately that they were willing and wanted to be able to open our home for the kids, giving them a place to start school (for JJ, the boy, transferred to Findlay), and to allow her daughter to finish her senior year in high school. As things progressed, that seemed to be a possibility, and is now actually a reality. So I volunteered up my room, and mom and dad (with some help from myself) did a quick re-work on my brothers room to allow it to be used in a more efficient manner, as well as repainting and cleaning the carpets in my room. So basically have three new people in my life, who had always been there and were appreciated, but on a much different scale now. I obviously believe everything will work out for the best, and am fairly excited about getting to know everyone a little better, and looking to serve a role different then I ever have in our family. Should end up being a really neat thing, but it still comes back to a terrible and unfortunate event that caused it....I still find it hard to believe at times, so can't imagine their thoughts when they think about it....
Regardless, so we quite a bit of change, but the constants of being at UD, playing football, working at AmTrim, talking and getting as much time with Kristel (and my Dakota bear)as we can are still always there. Semester will be fun, but I know it is gonna go quick and then the real world comes a knocking on the door....should be a fun greeting when it arrives.
You know the number, the name, and the place...hit it if you got anything
