I started ordering groceries from Save-On Foods because the boutique grocery I normally use doesn't sell cans of bachelor chow Chef Boyardee 2 for $4 :-D We always keep a few cans in the cupboard, just in case

That does sound yummy :)

Being the two of us and being in a hot climate, we don't usually have the turkey-ham business we prefer chicken anyway. But this year, we're having beef in sticky mulled wine marinade instead, with oven-roasted vegies followed by ice cream.

Ooooh I haven't done beef with wine in too long a time! I forget that you have more of a beachy Christmas :-) I hope it's fun!

We're inland, not near to any beaches sad to say, but a lot of my Christmas memories involve garden or backyard barbeques... :)

It was very warm for Christmas Day, and heading for a hot New Year's Day.

Yeah! We just have to decide what day to make it. We've been on standby because we were expecting my husband's aunt and uncle to be flying in, but their flights were cancelled. It's so cold de-icing won't work!
