Welcome to Dreamwidth!
While I feel less inclined to jump ship from LiveJournal and their slowly-growing issues (including, but not limited to, FB integration and privacy control) than I did a few months ago, I think starting up an account on DreamWidth is a prudent course of action. I'm not sure if I'll start cross-posting to my account there, but we'll see.
