some phrases
On our trip out west, we did a lot of things. However, i want to accompany that post with dante pictures and i have lost my camera cord. So until then, i leave you with a list of sayings my son learned, repeated, or exhausted during our trip out west. These of course are the butt end of every joke from this point forward. So lets look at them.
Just learned:
"Granma" - Applies to Lorri and Doy
"Denny" - Obviously... Denny, not grandpa but... Denny
"TD" - This is TV, but actually, its the small DVD screen on the back of Kenny's car seat. Usually accompanied with "Mines" and an expectant eye glare when it is off.
"Sand box" - Dad has a sandbox, Dante likes it. 'nuff said
Used often:
"Ready?" - said with excitement, usually when being pulled out of the car seat or being pushed quickly away with a shopping cart.
"I Poo" - This is said almost every morning upon Dante's awakening into the world. Even if he hasn't, he still reminds us of the possiblity.
"Plane!" - 28 hours in the car, quite a few exclamations of planes. A few were right, many were wrong.
"Lubyou mommy" - Now, if he would say it to kenny, it wouldn't be so sad, but its still adorable when he says it.
Exhausted:
"I Like Wocks" - I bet you can guess the last word, he normally accompanies it with picking up something he shouldn't and then chucking it.
"Mines" - This is mine, but he likes to make it plural, to drive home the point.
"No, no no no no....." Dante likes to lock himself into rooms now, and if you open the door, will come charging at it screaming this and then slamming the door in your face if you don't move quick enough. Kenny thinks hes already become a teenager, i am starting to believe him.
"Stop! Dada" - Kenny and i get into a little game to see if we tell Dante to say stop to the other, who he picks. He likes to glare and tell Kenny most lovingly "STOP! Dada" but kinda mumbles the dada part. Quite humorous, annoying as hell to Kenny.
"No Luna!" - If he heard us tell Luna to stop doing something, he would mimick it perfectly, and then Luna would feel more sad, so we had to take to shaming her in private.
"Apple juice!" - Ummm, nuff said, he doesn't need THAT MUCH JUICE
Well, thats all i can think of, i'll be getting the pics up in the next few days... Loved my trip though ^^
