Rin' - Asuka
Rin' (and their hilariously pretentious name) is a Japanese trio that plays instrumental rock music. The catch: it's on traditional Japanese folk instruments. Most of the songs on this album start out slow, because they want to trick you in with the old-style asian folksy sound... and then they whip out the crazy fucking rock riffs on a goddamn koto. It is FUCKING FANTASTIC. Hanafubuki (花吹雪) is my very favorite.
