Lenny and Squiggy present Lenny and the Squigtones

So in 1979 David Lander and Michael McKean went to the Roxy in Hollywood and recorded this comedy album entirely in character as Lenny and Squiggy. And no one has ever, ever heard it, and that is a motherfucking crime. The keyboardist is Murph of the Blues Brothers, and lead guitar is Nigel Tufnel; I'm dead serious, it's awesome. It was only ever released on vinyl and 8-track, and only then for about twenty minutes. Through the magic of ebay and thinkgeek, I can present it to you. <3

If you snagged my birthday mix, you are already familiar with "King of the Cars," which is my favorite -- but the rest of it is awesome, too, and it's only a 45mb download. Pros: do it. Cons: doooooo iiiiiiiiiit.
