I had my latest appointment at hospital yesterday, sigh, they decided to play silly buggers with my notes and no one had the common sense to look at the list of appointments or even tick off the ones seen. FFS how long does that take to do? It saves so much trouble in the long run and stops people suffering a longer wait and more pain in the process. My surgeon was apologetic, it was half his fault, and as usual took me seriously but with humour. I'm back in the book for an operation under emergency (used mostly for the cancer patients but in this case it's because I am in sodding agony so don't panic) so I shouls get a letter for a date by the end of the week. apparantly my cyst is like a honeycomb so they can't just drain it to get rid of it but they have to remove it bit by bit.
If I'm lucky they'll be able to use a laporoscopy technique going through the navel, and it will be much less traumatic, but knowing my luck it will be another slice and dice situation again. This could really put a cramp in my plans dammit. I was hoping to go to Chessington on the 29th I might be in hospital instead. Emergency can be that quick. Ahh well it will give the boys something else to think about which is definitely what I want. I can always go in the autumn.
On good news, errr, well I guess that is good news really, in a strange way. Heh.
I'm not sleeping too well I keep waking up in the early am. and not being able to crash out again. I even got up this morning and read for an hour in the living room because I didn't want my wrestlessness to wake up Kev. He has been so incredibly supportive, so has Drew, they are both wonderful. I wish there was some way to let them know how much I appreciate them. I would just love one night when I go to sleep and wake up in the morning.
Gah, I'm hungry and I need a couple of pain killers, I really have to get moving.
