I have a dilemma...

Nov 02, 2008 23:20

(It's about politics, so run if you want to.)

I don't like Obama for his shady associations (though they may be in the past, we are still judged by the company we keep, and some of his former friendships with the *ahem* questionable people were quite recently disolved. in fact, right before he started running for president. hmm.), or his extreme lack of experience.

I like Biden. I seem to agree with most of what he says. Seems like a good, solid guy.

I like McCain. I respect what he's done for our country, and the sacrifices he's made. I admire his lengthy amount of experience serving our country, both in the military and in our government. I do not like his ideas for the 'war'. (Though he claims to want to 'finish' it as much as the rest of us, I can see our men being over there for a few years yet if he is elected, and I don't like that thought.)

I don't like Palin. I really don't like Palin. I think she's an uber-conservative nut job that will destroy what little of our natural reserves we have left. That, and she's kind of creepy.

So... dilemma. The election is, quite literally, less than two days away. It's been going on for... what seems like forever. And I still don't know who to vote for.

Do I vote for Obama, and hope that Biden has a very good influence on him? Or do I vote for McCain and hope that Palin has very little infulence on him.

Any of you care to throw in your two cents before Tuesday?
