January Can't Be Over Yet

Jan 29, 2009 15:47

Just looked at the calendar and remembered that I said I was going to start posting the Nano story the first Monday in February.  As in four days from now.  Crap, why am I nervous?  Well, I can think of plenty of reasons.  Most of the characters in this are OCs, people may not be familiar with my AU, and of course--is it going to be any good?  I'm planning for this to be the first of three stories.  I already have a 150 pages down in Word with six or so more scenes to write.  Will people make it through the first one?  Will anyone want to read past that much?

I guess I've pretty much been the only one living in this story's world, and I've been there since October.  Places always look better when you know your way around.  Will people like what they see when they're invited in?  Guess I'll find out on Monday.

Maybe I'll distract myself by making some cover art.  Or, you know, finally finishing the story.  Yeah, probably cover art.

EDIT: Did the cover art.  Tell me what you think...

From left to right you have V'Kari Tain (my bad guy), Gavin Fel (Jaina and Jag's older son), and Nawra Mykos (Jaina and Jag's oldest, narrator of Family Album and my Diary Challenge subject)

nanowrimo, art, tf.n, writing, star wars
