I've been doing this since 2001, so I believe I am excempt from the "stupid meme eye-rolls".
This is my yearly looking back at where I've come from and where I'm going.
2001 was:
- New Years Eve: going to a party when I should have been at a church function, making out with a drunk stranger, getting caught and being brought home
- oding on caffiene pills
- the Hanover House being shut down
- my Bio lab group
- going from Linkin Park to Dashboard Confessional.
- 1 Five Iron show, 2 phone cards a night, 3 a.m. drunk phone call, 420 out a window and $483 worth of phone calls, 5 weeks as a couple, 6 New York colleges with potential, 7 hours by car, 8 days to understanding BPD, 9-11.
-leaving my church and wandering.
Resolution: I'm drawing x's on my hands, not talking to strangers, and hoping that this New Year is better than last year. KEPT
2002 was:

- The Empress Ballroom and everything that went along with it…
- Jacob or Esau?
- Emo jackets with Abercrombie labels
- COLLEGE (getting accepted to WCSU, St. Joe’s, and Northeastern) and finally getting my Applause
- Leaving my church and wandering
Resolution: Don’t date your friends, don’t judge people too fast, and don’t get too attached to one noun. KEPT
2003 was:
New Year's Eve: Driving around Stamford and Westport (the most cliquey town I have ever seen) with my Sweetie, and kissing in the new year at Athena's diner.
- Senior year bonding
- St. Joe's or Northeastern?

- My first college course and my last LDR
