(no subject)
As one final kick in the teeth from UofL.....guess what.... I MIGHT NOT BE GRADUATING!!!!!!!!!!!!
the same advisor that told me i could take a class "pass/fail", and have it count for credit when i really couldn't and had to take another class in order to get the credit....also told me that I only needed to take 12 credit hours this semester. Added it up TWICE and ASSURED me that was all i needed.
Well, she was wrong. My credits after this semester will only add up to 118 and I need 121 to graduate. I have all my general education requirements, and all my justice administration requirements, but am short one fucking free elective.
i am beyond pissed.
oh, and by the way, this is after i submitted not one but TWO degree progress checks since last april, that i never heard back about AND I applied for my degree in september, and still didn't get any information.
it was just by chance that i stopped in the advisors office yesterday to make sure I didn't need to do anything else before the end of the semester only to find out...SORRY, YOU'RE NOT GRADUATING.
so i submitted a petition to the dean to have the class waived, but who knows if they will do it or not.
i should know by now to never expect anything to work the way its supposed to.
