I won't leave you waiting in eager anticipation any more...I will update...
So. I have one week of college left.
that really freaks me out.
I submitted my first resume today, which was kind of exciting.
I've enjoyed working at maryhurst, but I just feel like I'm done there. I feel like it has served its purpose, and I have served mine, and I'm ready to move on. It ended up being the perfect job for these last two years, but I would like to be able to make enough money to move out of my parents house and not live in poverty. Also, I don't really like the idea of working 2nd shifts and weekends forever. Who knows if I'll be able to find anything better though.
I really don't have anything exciting to report from the past month.
I've visited 3 different prisons, and could picture myself working at 2 of them, so if all else fails, they are ALWAYS hiring.

they have everything on there, and its often very funny. I should have read the "so you wanna go to australia" thing before I went on my trip...
here is an excerpt that describes what happened after courtney dropped me off at the airport.
"Don't mess around with these visas. If you don't have one, the stewardess won't let you on the plane. Then you'll cry. And the stewardess will laugh. The bastard."
I somehow managed to plan my entire trip without knowing you had to have a visa. yes, they told me I couldn't get on the plane, and yes i started crying...but no one laughed at me, they just called a bunch of people and got me a visa for $25.
I really didn't know if was ever going to get there though. After the visa thing, I flew to chicago... then to los angelos, where my flight was delayed for 4 hours, so I was in that airport for about 7 hours. Then was on the plane for 13 hours...but due to the delay, by the time i got to sydney, I had missed my flight to cairns, so I had to run around and get a different flight. it was a mess.
