Damn. My life has been crazy since the last entry.
I went to see GOF last Saturday with Rob, Jessie, and Britt.
It was great, I loved it so much. Daniel Radcliffe is sexy as usual, but the guy who plays Viktor Krum is SO bangable! So is Cedric Diggory!!!
It was pretty close to the book, and how I pictured it, but they had to cut a lot of stuff due to time. Still amazing though.
On Weds, I went out for lunch at Abe's with the crew. Good times.
"So this guy randomly came right up to me in Wegman's and said 'Hey, you're from myspace.'"
"You should have said 'Um, actually, I'm from Ashley.'"
"Yeah, cause she REALLY lives inside of the myspace. It's her home..."
Haha, it was so funny. Britt was laughin so hard I thought she was gonna choke.
But maybe it serves her right, cause of course when we go to a place for HOT DOGS, Brittany has to get a turkey club. Only her, only her. lol j/k...
After that we went shopping for semi dresses. We went up the mall Jessie and Britt got their dresses there, and then we went to David's Bridal. We met up with Keri there and she showed us a pic of her dress. It's CRAAAZYYYYY. It's so unique and awesome. I got a strapless navy blue dress at DB. It looks good on me and flatters my figure. Thanks to Jodi for helping me pick it out! I don't know what I'd do without her, lol. Love ya girl.
Then I called Dan to tell him I got a dress, but he wasn't there, so I talked to his mom, haha. She was all concerned about me and asked about flowers and was all momish, whereas Dan could really care less. Of course, lol.
My Thanksgiving was pretty decent.
I went to New Jersey to visit my grandpa, aunts, and Gayle. I dressed up quite nicely, and wore a nice sweater, my black dressy pants, and heels. I also wore my black peacoat and...my mom's pearl necklace and earrings. I straightened my hair and wore it half up and actually wore makeup for once. I looked really, um, rich, I guess? (lol) so I fit right in with the people who live there, cause all the houses are like mansions, and it's a super nice neighborhood. When I went to this supermarket, King's, I felt like I was 'one of them' cause everyone who was there looked like they stepped off of Park Avenue. Plus, this cute boy kept looking at me in the parking lot. Yay for pearls, haha.
Then Jo and I went visit Grandma's grave, and I SWEAR she was there and with us all day or something, cause these things happened:
1. When we got to her plot, the flowers that Jo put on there months ago were STILL ALIVE. I thought well, maybe there are other things in here that are still alive too, but everything else I checked in the cemetary was dead. It was just her roses. The soil in the pot was frozen too! The weather was so harsh where they live the past few weeks, and we couldn't understand how the flowers lived in the pot. Not only that, but they were the roses from HER rosebush in the backyard. That rosebush died a long time ago and all of a sudden it started to come back to life one day. We think she brought the rosebush back to life. I love it.
2. Then, while I was at the grave, I said a prayer and asked if she were with us. I said if she were there to give me a sign. As soon as we walked back to the car, it started raining. That was weird cause it was supposed to snow there today, not rain. She loved the rain and when it rained, like I do. It did the whole time in the car until we just pulled up to the house 15 minutes later, as if she had it rain the whole time we were in there, but stopped it just as we got to the house, so as we wouldn't get wet. Weird?
3. Also, in the car we were talking about my play and the Christmas choral concert, and Jo asked what songs I was singing. I was stupid and drew a blank of what we were singing. I couldn't remember a lot of them, all I said was "Carol of the Bells", and "I'll Be Home For Christmas". Jo started to sing "I'll Be Home For Christmas" even though "Sleigh Ride" was on, and she said to sing with her. I told her I didn't know a lot of it cause I told her the first time I ever heard it was in chorus, and that I never heard of it before then. She said "Really? It's a good song. It was one of Grandma's favorites. I wish we could hear it now." She said that just before Sleigh Ride ended, and of course the next song to come on was "I'll Be Home For Christmas". It was seriously the weirdest thing. We were like "Ahhh oh my god!!! We just mentioned that!"
It was so freaky with all those things, and it was like Grandma was with us.
Then we went back to the house and ate hors d'oeuvres and had Claret Lemonade (Pink lemonade and Merlot) and champagne. My dad first gave me a really humungous glass of the Claret, it was more than a 32 ounce glass. I asked him for the champagne cause I wanted it with my hors d'oeuvres, and he was like "There's not much champagne, finish your lemonade first" lol. So I DOWNED it, haha. I drank all of it in a few minutes, and he gave me mostly Merlot with a little bit of lemonade! Then he gave me a flute of champagne. I drank that pretty slowly, but then I had another glass that I sipped pretty quickly cause we were called for dinner. Plus, I took back most of the glass of sherry they had and a few sips of the whiskey sour, so I felt a bit woozy at the dinner table, lol.
This year we didn't cook the dinner, cause Dee couldn't eat it. We got an ORGANIC meal, all straight from Whole Foods market. They gave us so much food! We had like so much left over. It was okay. The turkey was pretty good, so were the beans and stuffing, but next year I want the original dinner. I missed it.
Then we had dessert of pumpkin pie, mince meat pie, apple pie, and organic chocolate truffles that came with the meal, lol. It was yummy. We attempted at the dishes, and then me, my mom, Jo, and Steve went outside for a walk.
I was the first one outside, and I don't know what happened to me then, but I got into this weird thing. It was sorta windy outside, and I wanted it to be windier, so I pulled a "The Craft" and closed my eyes and wished it would get windier, like how Sarah did at the end. When everyone got out there and we started to walk around the block (it's in a circle driveway neighborhood) the wind got so bad and was HOWLING! It sounded like a jet was coming at us, it was so loud. It was all of a sudden, and it got so cold and so icy and bitter that we had to turn around and go back inside. I swear to God, I don't know what happened, but I think I did it. My mom and Steve ran to the house, but I couldn't run cause I had heels on. Jo kept walking around once, cause she's a fitness woman and she's nuts like that, lol. As I walked back, I was wishing it would stop. When I got to the front of the house, I closed my eyes again and wished it would stop, and it died down, then stopped. Then I went back in the house. Jo came back in 5 minutes later and we were like "How did you make it all the way around the block???" And she was like, it stopped, after where we were, it was only like that near the house." WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?!? That was when I left to go back in. I don't know... You all must think I'm a fucking lunatic, or maybe it was the alcohol, idk. It was just the weirdest and freakiest day.
Then we went back in and Jo and I played Uno, and then we left to go home. She gave us money and told us when we came down for Christmas, that she would take us to the Short Hills Mall. SCORE!!! I'll get something from Sephora.
We drove home and it was really icy on the roads, it looked like black ice. We drove really slowly and there were 5 cars in the ditch along the highway. Thank god we made it home alive, lol.
This morning, I went Black Friday shopping, haha. I went with Shelly, Steve, and Marissa, and it was a fun time. I knew it was gonna be crazy, especially with Shelly. She's like "Yo, I'm so gonna get into a fight and have to smack a bitch this morning. I don't care, bring it on!" Haha, I love her. First, we went to Wal*Mart. The electronic department was PACKED. Me and Marissa stood guard of the cart over there so noone would steal it, and we all split up around the store and would randomly call each other and be like "Yo!!! Where are ya?" and we'll walk around and run right into each other, lol. Me and Steve got my dad Seasons 5 & 6 of Seinfeld, and we went to the toy aisle to see if Harry Potter Scene It was there, but it wasn't. =( Steve got me a Harry Potter poster, though. Then Steve and Marissa went over to the eyeglasses while I was in jewelry, and then I went over. We tried on glasses, then left and headed over to the mall.
Shelly yelled "HOLY FUCK! LOOK AT ALL THE CARS!!!" We spent like the longest time finding a spot, and Shelly saw this car backing out of the parking lot, so she drove really fast to get it and I was like "Shell! They're pulling in!" So she slammed on her breaks and I was like "Oh my god! We'll be lucky we make it in the mall alive!" We split up again, and I went to the Gallery of Sound and I woke Britt up to ask her what cd she wanted, since she always complains about all the cds she wants. After 3232832098423098230 hours of her deciding, I got her a TBS cd. Then I went to Bath and Body with Shelly and Marissa, but then didn't get anything cause it was hectic. I stepped one foot in Victoria's Secret, but then left when I saw how long the line was and how I couldn't even get through to the back. Then I went down to Hot Topic and got Steve 2 shirt cause they were buy 2, get one free. I got myself a Harry Potter shirt of all the main cast.
http://www.hottopic.com/store/product.asp?LS=0&G=2&ITEM=210404I love how all the stuff that I want is all Harry Potter stuff. I'm nuts, lol. Steve got his girlfriend a candy necklace g-string. Lovely. Then we went to Dino's for pizza, and came home. Fun times.
Tonight is the next playoff game for football. I'm glad we are District 2 Champs, and I hope we are State Champions. I don't know if I'm going or not. Actually I don't know a lot of things anymore, but I don't want to get into that now. This entry is already long enough, and it's not like this is going to be read the way it is. My entries are always too long. I'm a moron.
I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving.
