Rather awesome journal post about St Louis breaking up their 99% protestors... I am in awe of the understanding of human nature that took an interesting situation and defused it without the use of heavy boots, guns, or batons. Just wow.
I read this today/yesterday and found it such a delightful romp. I liked Agatha, and found her refreshingly down to earth and talented, an awesome combination. And she seems confident and competent and awesome. Yay

Paladin of Souls, also by Lois MacMaster Bujold. A kind of not quite sequel to Curse of Chalion. I liked them both. Nice to read some mature fantasy where the character you're reading through is not 14 - 19. And acts like human beings. :-)
