Since I'm sure you want to know how the interview turned out, it was around fifteen minutes long and it was only a preliminary interview. >_< The woman who was interviewing me (who I suspect works in the Customer Service department) said she has interviews up til Monday or Tuesday, and then she'll apparently pass the information on to the head of the electronics department. I might get called sometime next week for a second interview or for peer orientation (whatever that is) on the 24th or so.
But I'd like to thank
erin_hime and
anijel for offering me advice. :) I tried to relax and be friendly, and once I started the interview I found it wasn't as hard as I thought it was.
It was a little disappointing, since I felt all so nervous about nothing more than a preliminary interview. I would have thought I would have been able to say "I start on Monday", at least. x_x But here's to hoping I get the job. *crosses fingers*
And
anijel was right -- aside from the standard (what hours can you work, do you have any disabilities, etc.), most of the interview was "what would you do in this situation" type questions (or what have you done in the past in those situations). Also, for some reason I was asked about my favourite teacher and why I thought they were good. o.O I don't really know what that had to do with anything, but it was kind of hard to answer, since I had a lot of good teachers in my run. ;P
Anyway, I'm kind of tired right now, so I guess while I'm waiting for dinner I'll just sit here and work on CS some more.
erin_hime updated her story and so that had spurred me to work on mine. :P
