The choir sang today in Church. It went really well, right until the very last note. It was written to be held for four measures, with the altos and tenors resolving their chord on the third measure, but that was a very long time for my only-adequate choir to hold a note, so I cut it down to two measures, resolving the chord after four beats. Had a blind date last night.

I cannot tell you how many times I've been asked, "Are you going on a second date?!"

Prior to five minutes ago, I did not know how to successfully answer and deflect further probing. Now I do.

Me: No.
Questioner: Why not?!
Me: Because he hasn't asked me on one.
