Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Dentist Day
I recently broke my perfect record and got a cavity.

Because this was my first experience with dental anesthetic, there were several things I was unprepared for:
1) numb tongue
2) needles being shoved in my mouth
3) numb tongue
4) people in my face
5) NUMB TONGUE
No one told me it hurt getting dental anesthetic (NEEDLES ARE THE WORST). No one also told me that it LASTS for HOURS afterward. HOURS. It was four hours later before I could finally feel my mouth! And no one told me I'd feel like the StayPuft Marshmallow Man or like a stroke victim. Talking was hard. Some politician came to my door begging for votes, and I felt like a moron trying to talk to him out of one side of my mouth.
And other people do this on a regular basis? How come nobody talks about it?! Every member of my family has had fillings before, yet NONE of them mentioned it, so therefore I went in wholly unprepared. You failed me, family! *shakes fist*
