The Mysteries of Life

Can someone please explain to me how there is so much hair on my floor, despite the fact that I go out of my way to put my shed hair in the trashcan?! How does this happen? I want to know!

In other news, I need to rearrange my bookshelves again. I have recently acquired more books (an ongoing occurence, really) and they're just collecting in a haphazard way. I usually wait until I have a dozen or so books that need to be sorted before I rearrange things. I find it easier to do it all at once rather than move all my books every time I buy a new one.

Oh, and speaking of buying new books, I think I might single-handedly be keeping Barnes and Noble in business (your'e welcome, B&N). Also, it is a pet peeve of mine when people pluralize Noble. It's Barnes and Noble, NOT Barnes and Nobles.

Also, I have some of the sweetest students. When it is time for recess, my little Meelo will often run to my chair, grab my sweater and coat and hold them out for me to put on. I think it's adorable. I can't remember if anybody else has ever done that for me....but even if they have, it's not as cute as an eight-year-old doing it.

I'm subject-hopping again. It's a good thing I'm not still in college, because I don't think my papers would be very cohesive, which tends to get one marked down. Then again, I did get a perfect score once on an analytical paper I wrote the night before/morning that it was due. Wait, do those two thoughts connect? Clearly it is late and I must sleep. Actually, it's not that late, I just stayed up until 3 a.m. reading, which makes me uber tired now.

I need a better sleeping schedule.

(But books, man! They're just so great and wonderful and there! I can't give that up. I'm an addict.)

Student: I'm a Devil Child, Teacher, so I can't come into your heavenly classroom!

books, teaching, i'm so tired it's ridiculous but i still, hair, the cute kills me
