I've got to work on my message-leaving abilities. I just left Boy Who Smiles a message, and it's quite possibly the dumbest message I've ever left, and I've left my fair share of dumb messages. Note to self: plan out what you're going to say before you say it.
Also, I've got to learn to keep things to myself, because God hears me and He likes to set me right. My home teachers came over on Monday and stayed for a full hour. Fifty-five of those minutes were spent on chatting and catching up, and five minutes were spent on the lesson. It was one of the most enjoyable visits I've ever had with a home teacher, if not THE most enjoyable.
. . . So maybe I shouldn't keep things to myself. I don't mind them turning out this way.
We watched the BBC Emma last night and tonight. It is much better than the Gwyneth Paltrow version. Mr. Knightley was quite dashing. It was most satisfying to see him and Emma finally reconcile their feelings. The only thing missing from the movie was Harriet mourning Mr. Knightley. I kept waiting for it, but the next thing I knew she was marrying Robert Martin. I thought for certain she had to get over Mr. Knightley first. Apparently not. . . .?
I also saw Harry Potter again today. Still love it. I'm somewhat sad that the final installment is coming out next summer. What will I do then? Everything Harry Potter will finally be over! I'm not sure how I feel about that. I don't like chapters of my life coming to a close; it forces me to find something new to look forward to. If I keep this up, I'm going to have quite the collection of useless knowledge in my head by the time I die.
Also, my room is cold! Brr! And by "my room" I do mean "Rosie's scrapbooking room." Is the heat even on in here? It's positively frigid! How did I manage to sleep last night?! Oh, that's right, I got an extra blanket. Hopefully I don't need more extra blankets. I think it's colder tonight than it was last night. Brr! Cold, be banished!
At least my pajama pants should be warm. I just did my laundry, and they're fresh from the dryer. Mmm, warm pants.
THANKSGIVING TOMORROW! I am looking forward muchly to the pumpkin pies. I love me some pumpkin pies! And I hope green bean casserole makes an appearance. I LOVE green bean casserole! 'Tis yum. Yummmm.
Cousin Rowena showed up with her baby in tow. I've spent many hours now holding said baby. I love me some babies. Hi, baby! She's ridiculously adorable. Her head was misshapen, so she now sports a helmet to help restructure her skull. it in no way detracts from her cuteness.
Seriously, the cold! It's getting to me!
