I am so glad you like this, you have no idea. I was really afraid you'd find it a bit embarrassing, listening to some British girl cry while reading something you'd written. I really love this story, I think it's incredibly beautiful and I loved recording it. My reading style already leant towards the slower, more measured tone, but sometimes I just had to pause to get around the lump in my throat. I've never been so affected while recording before.
Thank you again for letting me podfic this - I can't describe how amazing it feels to have an author feel so strongly about my work. I honesty don't think you could have paid me a bigger compliment. Jeez, I've been trying to write this comment for, like, half an hour, now and I just can't think of what to say. Just know that I am colossally grateful for this opportunity and that I can't express how wonderful it is that you find this beautiful. Thank you so, so much.
