QAF and memories

Jan 06, 2006 01:16

It's been a few days since I've updated and decided it's time to do so.  But what to write about today.  I've read a lot of QAF rants of late.  Such wonderful and compelling commentary's by many.  It's good to know that I wasn't the only one who felt cheated or betrayed by evil cowlip.  I think instead of hashing over the S5 and the finale, I want ( Read more... )

and the scene where he offers 5000.00 in season two for justin's artwork to keep him from going to The Sap's party.

YES, 214 is brilliant, and not only because of the end...
"Maybe WE should hang it, then you could tell everybody you're hung." - "I already do"...*grins*

and the scene where he stands between chris hobbes and Justin when justin is telling him off on Liberty avenue. and then rather than giving him the same praise everyone else does shows disapproval because bottom line, he really doesn't want justin getting hit in the head with a bat.

YES, just re-watched 116 and 117 again yesterday ... S1 *sighs*

I loved 104 too, but before you pointed out that the "no repeats" is from 201, I enyojed even more cause there were actually two B/J scenes in 104... yum

and yes... S1 to S3... definitely re-watch worthy

but no...they go back and focus on stuff that doesn't matter, like life and homophobia, and michael.

how come you put those three in one sentence LOL

btw, I love Brian with Vic in that scene before the stairs - you can see so much in that one gesture and look between them....

agree with all, I think, thanks for reminding me of some of the better/best moments LOL

Brian coming in drunk at the loft to discover emotionally upset Justin, and the way Brian blinks himself into sobriety to deal with him... this is sooo Brian, LOVE him (yeah, what else is new)

I'm sorry I missed the party you and Vamphile seem to be having after I posted it. You two are riots. What I enjoy about you two and it is something that I like to think I share with you guys, is that you both have a real appreciation for the small details in QAF, the little moments that show us that Brian essence is more true to 'ridiculously romantic' than 'I don't do love'. Like Brian running up the stairs two at a time or Brian putting himself between Justin and Chris Hobbs. You get the picture. I think tomorrow after I get home from work, my next journal posting is going to be fav lines. "You FUCKED a murder"???????? comes to mind. God that one still cracks me up. So sharpened those incredible brain cells you have and be ready to add your two cents. My times been a bit limited today with work, but I still plan to rewrite that 'lost comment' to you.

"You FUCKED a murder"????????

was my sig quote at a forum for months, the whole thing... but what makes the brian delivery of that line "you fucked the cop" the best is Gale's protrayal.

he gets this look on his face part revusion part fear, a little anger...

and then ben and michael, and the yelling screaming...

gaaaah, i'll talk about it when you post. but yeah, the little things get me more than the big ones do on QAF (possibly because the stories aren't that well written, it's the actors characerizations and portrayals that make me love the show)

so those tiny moments that are just reaction shots...

i mean would the return of the bracelet scene in 30X (something after two but before seven) would it mean a damn thing if it had been done by anyone other than gale/randy, without that kind of electricity?

S.U.N.

304... and NO, it wouldn't! course not... those two are just sooooo good and yummy and excellent and yummy and I think they are brilliant too ... and yummy... oh, and HOT

- I never would have thought I liked the early S3 that much when I was finished watching 220. And I didn't when I first watched 301 to 306 (although the bracelet return always stood out) but those eps are wonderful to watch now.

Like the hope, much more than we got in other seasons... love the whole damn season 3 to death

(btw, does it make me a total loser if I tell you that I popped in one of the later S3 DVDs to see if/that they were back together before I went to actually watch 301...?)

hey, the S.U.N. is back...

Hi,

I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Once I finished it writing it, I did double check on my various dvd's jacket to verify the episode to the memory cause I wanted that to be accurate. Once I got going, I could've added another 20+ fav's, but I wanted to limit myself to top 10. It was fun to do and by the time I was done, I was in a good mood and had manage to remind myself why I love this show.

Thanks for dropping a line.

Callie ;-)

I've only watched a couple of episodes from season 1 after the show ended...I'm afraid if I watch too much of it I'll get more upset! But I really liked reading your memories!
