QAF and memories

Jan 06, 2006 01:16

It's been a few days since I've updated and decided it's time to do so.  But what to write about today.  I've read a lot of QAF rants of late.  Such wonderful and compelling commentary's by many.  It's good to know that I wasn't the only one who felt cheated or betrayed by evil cowlip.  I think instead of hashing over the S5 and the finale, I want ( Read more... )

okay but better (to me) then the "hey stud, wanna dance, i promise you won't forget this one) is the scene RIGHT before it.

the one where justin kisses his shoulder and tells him to go find a stud...the look on brians face when he's decided where he really wants to be...he is soooo fucked at that point, christ i love that.

okay, i could go on and on about what scenes i love but since i'm a big stupid sucker for protective brian i will just say...

whichever ep in season four in which he sees the bruise on justins back from the pink posse escepades and tries to subtly convince him to take the night off.

and the scene where he offers 5000.00 in season two for justin's artwork to keep him from going to The Sap's party.

and the scene where he stands between chris hobbes and Justin when justin is telling him off on Liberty avenue. and then rather than giving him the same praise everyone else does shows disapproval because bottom line, he really doesn't want justin getting hit in the head with a bat.

okay, see, this is why i don't write squee's like this, because i'm such a stupid girl

and if cowlip didn't think they were writing a romance...what the fuck did they THINK was going on?

[waves] kbye.

YES, 214 is brilliant, and not only because of the end...
"Maybe WE should hang it, then you could tell everybody you're hung." - "I already do"...*grins*

YES, just re-watched 116 and 117 again yesterday ... S1 *sighs*

i'm reading crack fic right now, and it's warping my brain, i may never be able to write again....

not really, but seriously, i need to rewatch s1 2 and 3. I have a friend who writes slash fic but hasn't ever seen QAF so i've been holding off so we can marathon a bit of season one together.... and i'm getting imatient, i have an absolutely bizarre need to see brian take debbies stairs two at a time in 104 to get "straight to number one" i know, i'm a big geek and the scenes that get me are the stupid tiny ones, like him taking the stairs...

and the fact that justin is a whiny dork through the whole ep

and brian is an amazingly annoying asshole, and then ....

there's chemistry again.

that's the ep that cowlip should have watched like 99999999999999 times and realized "they need to be in like a lot more scenes together because this show really loses something when they're not crackling electricity into it.

but no...they go back and focus on stuff that doesn't matter, like life and homophobia, and michael.

sorry, i'm being a big dork, but have i mentioned it's 4:30 in the morning and i'm reading some of the worst fic ever ever ever because i'm a massochist like that?

shutting up now (SUN) that should be my signoff S.U. N.

but it's not gonna be.

gaaah...can't stop typing...

I loved 104 too, but before you pointed out that the "no repeats" is from 201, I enyojed even more cause there were actually two B/J scenes in 104... yum

and yes... S1 to S3... definitely re-watch worthy

but no...they go back and focus on stuff that doesn't matter, like life and homophobia, and michael.

how come you put those three in one sentence LOL

btw, I love Brian with Vic in that scene before the stairs - you can see so much in that one gesture and look between them....

real reason?

my daddy taught me the rule of threes.

humor is funny in threes
two that belong one that doesn't

life
homophobia
michael

la la la

sorry, i know you were kidding...and got the joke, but sometimes my comedy crafing knowledge just spills over :P

actually, sometimes i realize that posting after taking my meds is a bad idea, like now.

I too love the that scene with Justin kissing Brian's shoulder. I could kick myself for not including that whole scene arc. There are soooooo many great scenes and moments and that's what I had forgotten with all the anger and fury that I feel about much of S5. That was the whole point of this journal entry, to remember. I could have sat there at the computer and written another 20 favs easily, but that wasn't the deal that I had made with myself. I gave myself three guidelines. Not to just focus on B/J moments,(hard not to do!!!), not to use any sex scenes. (again, hard not to do but I plan to do a separate journal entry on that)and to keep it down to only 10. As it was I cheated a bit, but has the song goes, hey two out three ain't bad.

I'm sorry that I signed off my computer after I posted. You and Seanmegansean were in fine form. ;-)
