Sundress
It's not quite done yet...
today is a day for a sundress
with the sun hanging cool
but bright in the sky
summer turns to fall
and the butterflies die
the dress will be simple
a long flowing shift
with maybe some scallops on the hem
it will be green like mint
i will wear it in the fields
let ir brush against my calves
as i run barefoot and naked beneath it
and maybe prick my toe on a thorn
