Oh wow, there was a lot more to the conversation than I realized. I'm sorry our night had to turn into such a dramatic evening. But I'm really proud of you for finally talking to your mom about all this. I know that Syd and you aren't the confrontational types, but I think you two should have a serious sit-down chat with your mommy again sometime when emotions aren't running so high. If not for your mother's sake, at least for Jake and Chloe. And if it makes things awkward, just be glad you'll be outta the house soon. You're an adult now, and whether your mother thinks so or not, your concerns and opinions MATTER. Maybe she's not ready to quit now, but if she hears from her children personally how much it's affecting them, it'll be harder for her to pretend it's not an issue.
