Hi

My internet connection at home is not really working. I'm gathering more evidence, as if we needed more, that it's one thing to choose not to spend much time on the internet, (which I had been doing reasonably happily), and quite another to be prevented.

So, I don't know if anyone else saw or commented on this, but one of the most chilling things I've seen recently was James Murdoch on tv talking about the media and dissing the BBC, saying that only profit can (reliably? consistently? long-term? something like that) ensure impartiality. The hell? I don't even know what to say. Profit??? Profit!!!

"Impartiality".

The HELL???!!!

Also, East West 101. I'm quite serious; watch it, on Tuesday, 8:30, SBS.
