Sitting on the runway at the Salt Lake City airport in a big ol' thunderstorm. Pilot said "Sorry folks, gotta wait for this storm to pass. So I made it to Bogota, and I'm settling in at a nice little very inexpensive hotel, and the people are very nice.  The flight was kind of trying.  The plane was definitely smaller than what I've usually experienced on Continental.  The seat in front of me was definitely closer to me than I recall, and people walking down the aisle were always ( Read more... )

Almost forgot.  Yesterday on the flight, the pilot came on the speaker and said, "So there are some problems today down in Tampa and they've been rerouting some flights to Orlando and ours is one of the flights predetermined to be rerouted."  Murmur and worry started up in the cabin, and then the pilot came back on and said "April Fools!"  Oh Jet ( Read more... )
