i'm baaa-aaack!
did ya miss me? huh? huh? didya????
vacation was AWESOME!!!!!!! just what i needed. the weather was perfect, well, except on saturday when patti, adam, ollie and i rode to the beach and a thunderstorm hit with driving rain. nick had turned around and got soaked on his way back to the campsite, but we were all marooned on the beach in the cold hard rain. so we walked down and hid out under a lifeguard stand and ate goldfish until it stopped, then we rode back because we were soaked and there was no sunshine to warm us up. when we got back we found our tent in a huge lake of water, but it didn't leak at all. it was like a waterbed in there! nick wanted to leave it, but i made him move it because i'm mean. then we all showered and made some food on the fire and then we went to mr. whippy because its the best ice cream ever.
good story. basically all weekend we rode bikes, ate mr. whippy and campfire food, drank and laughed hilariously. of course there was 'dirty mad libs' and we had a new word this year to replace last years word... cockholster. use your imagination. you're probably right on. we fried up food on the campstove and i made the BEST fries ever. and the best fried chicken. and on the last day i made the best egg sandwiches ever. then teresa and i decided to see what else we could fry in the pie makers, so we tried plain eggs, peanut butter and jelly and schmoes. they all sucked though.
it was such a great group of people this year, everyone got along, no one whined about sunburn and disorganization (unlike last year), and both of my sisters and their boys came, which was cool to have everyone in one place at one time. both of nicks sisters and their boys came too, so i got to chill with them as well. also, patti, adam, katie, and ollie. i was sad when xtine, katie, ollie and kyle left though.
