Once upon a time I prompted robot Sherlock on the kinkmeme. Two wonderful people indulged me. coloredink, being sane, wrote something awesome and short. tartancravat started an epic that grew and grew and kept asking me what I wanted to see next. It got even bigger as we talked about the world, started filling in gaps. Eventually the need to worldbuild and fix the first parts necessitated a massive edit.
And then it became this crazy, amazing project as I got to help build it with tartancravat and have a hand in the fic so kindly created for my prompt. I poured a fuckton of time into this thing and had a lot of fun. Possibly leveled up my enabling powers, learned a lot of new things as I assailed the ever-patient C with oddball questions, did a lot of flailing and comma-wrangling. And now part 1 of the EPIC ROBOT SAGA is here for robotbigbang. (Yeah you read that right--PART ONE. There will be two other parts; this fucker is long. 100K OR BUST YEAAAAAH)
