The birthdays....
Soleil and I did make it to Kings Dominion on Friday. She and I had A BLAST!! The day was pretty perfect. A little bit warmer would have been nice, but a gorgeous day still. There were absolutely no lines so we were able to go on every ride several times. the XLC was closed which bummed us both out so we found the ultimate thrill another way. We ended up do the sky flyer. OH MY BUDDAH!! THAT SCARED THESHIT OUTTA ME! I had to buy the dvd so we could relive that moment over and over. Insanity. Once we decided we were definitely going to do it they got us all strapped into the harnesses. They asked who was gonna pull the release cord. I sure as hell wasn't going to do it. This was Soleil's idea so she had the honors of pulling the cord that would allow us to come crashing headfirst towards the earth. WOW! Just WOW. I highly recommend EVERYONE do that at least once. What a phenomenal experience. After 10 hours of riding rides I was pretty beat considering I only got about 3 hours sleep the night before. Thanks Danyelle...that was GREAT night!!(minus the parking garage asshole dude).
Wed Jen took me out for my birthday. We ended up at this little dock bar called the Big Owl and started drinking...This was about 4PM. after a few drinks and a shot of some mango patron we headed back to her house for din din. Needed some food in our bellies before Salsa lessons. Salsa lessons were FABU! We learned merengue that evening. Yeah totally learning the sexy moves. HOT! Our favorite bartender, Chris, created this shot called the blue banana especially for my birthday. OH MY GOD! BLUE BANANAS GIVE YOU BALLS!! I got pretty trashed(as I should have because it was my birthday). I walked around the bar asking complete strangers to buy me a blue banana because it was my birthday and THEY DID! hahahaha! Anyway...this is how the night ended.
