eventful day
Happy 63rd birthday to my daddy and Happy 9th birthday to Cira my lil Poohbear!!
So, I got my dad a gift certificate for 18 holes of golf. He's been talking about going to play a round now he has no excuse.
Saturday is pooh's small birthday bash. Dany, Rich and Maddy will be coming YAY! Cira doesn't know that Maddy is coming and I'm not gonna tell her. I'll just let that be a little surprise. Actually, she doesn't know I've planned anything at all. It'll be a fun day for her! :)
Today I get to finish up some shopping for saturday. I still have to pick up Cira's heelies then it's off to Doug's around noonish. We're going to spend the day in Baltimore together. I have no idea what we'll do once we're there, but I'm sure we'll think of something. This evening we're going to the O's game. They're playing Tampa(slight conflict of interest being I'm from Tampa, but I'm a Mets fan anyway)again tonight. I surprised him with tickets. He's a huge O's fan(I'm not). I'm not much of a sports fan period, but I'm sure we'll have a blast.
Doug finished the second coat of bottom paint on his boat yesterday. His GPS should arrive this week which means he'll have it in the water soon! I can't wait to get out on the water with him. He's promised many romantic days/evenings aboard his boat. :)
Work is still work. We have a lot of huge projects coming up. They are revamping our stock room. I'm so glad it's being done it really needs it, but my god the amount of work that's going to go into it is insane. We will all be participating in the stock room optimization however, I have no idea how I'll be able to work out the schedule for those task hours on top of the sales hours I need covered with the amount of payroll hours they give me to work with. Looks like I'll be picking up a lot of the slack considering no matter how many hours I work it's only counted as 40. Depressing. Once it's done I expect my schedule to chill, but I know better than that. Summer months are upon us and being that we're on the way to the beach, our traffic is going to be HEAVY! Good for business, not so good for me.
That's life in a nutshell. Uneventful really. ha!
